1. Who we are

Skill Lance [Legal entity name — to be confirmed] provides a done-for-you educational course production service: we turn your topic into finished, visual educational video. This is a production service, not software, not a course about how to make courses, and not an investment or business opportunity. Questions about these terms: [[email protected]].

2. What you’re buying

The flagship service is production of approximately 10 finished hours of visual educational video on your topic (the “course”), for a total of $2,999, split into a $97 holding deposit and a $2,999 balance as described below. Cheaper pilot or single-episode versions may be offered separately with their own terms.

3. The $97 holding deposit — non-refundable

The $97 payment is a non-refundable holding deposit for custom course production. It reserves your production slot and starts your intake. Because your course is custom work made for you alone, the deposit cannot be returned once paid — this is stated at checkout, in our Refund Policy, and here, so there are no surprises.

If you pay the deposit but don’t complete your intake [within X days — to be decided], the deposit is forfeited and your production slot is released.

4. Intake and production

After your deposit, a team member contacts you to collect what we need: your topic, who the course is for, and any materials you already have (notes, slides, documents, recordings, outlines — rough is fine). Production begins once your intake is complete.

5. The watermarked preview

Before any balance is due, you receive the complete finished course — watermarked — on a private streaming link. The preview:

• streams only; it is not downloadable before the balance is paid,
• is for your review only — don’t share the link, copy, record, or redistribute the preview,
• stays available to you [for how long after delivery — to be decided].

6. Revisions

7. The $2,999 balance

The balance of $2,999 is due on delivery — after you’ve watched the full watermarked course. We send you a secure Paddle payment link; nothing is charged automatically. Once the balance is paid, the clean, unwatermarked version of your course is released to you.

8. Who owns the course

When your final payment clears, you own the final course files as delivered to you. We keep the right to reuse our general production methods, tools, and know-how on other projects. [Whether we may show excerpts of your course as samples or portfolio — to be decided.]

9. No guaranteed outcomes

We produce your course. We don’t promise earnings, enrollments, students, or any business result from publishing it. What you do with the finished course is up to you.

10. Payments and Paddle

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, sales tax, receipts, and payment disputes. Your card details go to Paddle — we never see or store them. Billing questions start with your Paddle receipt.

11. Refunds

The $97 deposit is non-refundable. The balance is refundable only if production hasn’t started yet (see Refund Policy). There are no refunds after the clean, unwatermarked files are delivered — at that point you’ve received the finished product.
